Rua is a staff x with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. She’s a true softie at her core — affectionate, gentle, and always keen to connect.

Her initial excitement can sometimes be mistaken for bossiness, but it’s simply Rua being enthusiastic and eager to interact. Once she settles, her sweet nature really shines through. She’s a people-pleaser who responds well to training and is learning quickly, especially when given clear, consistent guidance.

Rua is a strong girl and may pull on the lead at first, but she’s already making great progress and improving with every walk. While she isn’t highly food-motivated, she is absolutely driven by affection — she’ll happily drop whatever she’s doing for a cuddle or a good scratch.

She enjoys a game of fetch (retrieving optional lol) and often turns playtime into joyful zoomies instead. Rua also has an excellent nose and loves following rabbit scents on walks, so she wouldn’t be suited to a home with cats.

On the plus side, she’s calm and well-mannered around livestock when on lead, showing little interest in stock and taking new environments in her stride.

Rua would thrive in a home that can offer her structure, love, and plenty of human companionship. In return, she’ll give you loyalty, affection, and a whole lot of heart.
