Buster is a gentle, softer-natured boy looking for a calm and understanding forever home.
He can be unsure around new people and in unfamiliar environments, and will look to his person for reassurance. With a bit of patience and a steady routine, he continues to grow in confidence and enjoys exploring at his own pace.
At home, Buster is an easy and relaxed companion. He settles well and enjoys being close to his person, often leaning in for affection. He is a real leaner and will seek that closeness with people he feels comfortable with - happily tucking his head under an arm or resting it on a shoulder.
Buster is quite curious about the world and does best in quieter settings. If he becomes overwhelmed, once home he will seek out his crate to decompress, showing lovely self-awareness.
With a little patience, Buster is the kind of dog who will truly reward his person — forming a special bond and offering quiet, genuine affection.
He would really benefit from living with a calm, confident medium to large dog who can help build his confidence, particularly on walks and in more unfamiliar environments. He is not suitable for a home with cats.
Buster is best suited to a quiet household where he can continue to build confidence with gentle guidance and structure.
