Moana is a beautiful female, just over 18 months old, believed to be a terrier mix.

Moana came into care as a shy adolescent with her siblings and needed time to decompress and learn that people could be safe. With consistency, patience, and care, she has come a long way, and while she’s still a sensitive girl, her personality is now shining through.

• Lead and walking experience
• Working on recall
• Crate trained
• Curious, intelligent, and observant

Moana is a free-spirited girl at heart. She enjoys exploring, taking in her surroundings, and doing things at her own pace. She can be independent and thoughtful, often preferring to assess new situations before engaging.

Once she trusts you, Moana shows her softer side, affectionate, loyal, and happy to come in for quiet connection and cuddles on her terms. She bonds meaningfully with people who give her space and time to feel safe.

She is still building confidence and will need continued gentle structure, routine, and positive reinforcement to help her grow into her best self. Because of her sensitivity and reactivity in unfamiliar situations, Moana is best suited to an adult-only home.
