Description
Unfortunately my other rabbit has recently passed away and I'm not in the situation to adopt another, so through no fault of her own, June is looking for a new home.
June is a female speyed 6 yr Flemish X. She was originally adopted from the SPCA Christchurch. June is up to date with her Vaccines (Filavac), last given 30/06/25. She has never had any health issues and weighs around 4.3kg.
I am in no rush to find June a home and will be very picky about where she goes.
June is not suited to being a kids pet, she does not like to be picked up or petted (this is very normal for rabbits) I want her to find a home who will respect her space.
She was a lovely gentle companion for my slightly bossy Male rabbit, her new home must have a castrated Male rabbit and her new owners must be willing to take time to bond them (this could take months).
June currently lives outdoors in an approx 6m x 5m enclosure and in this space is a walk in cage 2m x 2m that she gets locked in each night. Her new home must also provide her with this kind of space to run free. I will not allow her to be rehomed into hutch or small cage with only partial access to a run. I'm sure she would also adapt to an indoor lifestyle too. Juniper can dig the occasional hole only a few times a year, but its never been an issue.
Her housing area doesn't need to have grass in it but her new family need to be willing to give her daily fresh greens (not veges or fruit) she loves grass, safe herbs, rose petals, apple branches and willow branches.
She enjoys being let out for a run around my property and tends to get the zoomies and binkies during this time.
Juniper will come with her litter trays, any left over food (fibresafe rabbit pellets) and her food bowl and tunnel.
Any potential new owners must provide photos of their set up and provide information on the care of their current rabbit.
June is located in Darfield, Canterbury.
Thankyou for taking the time to read, any questions please get in touch.
