Description
Our two bonded mini lops, Moose (Chocolate Brown) and Eddie (Brown and White), are looking for a new home to call their own.
They are 9-month-old brothers and have been raised as a part of our family, growing up with the freedom to free-range in a safe, secure backyard, as well as come and go inside the house when we are at home. In the evening, they are easy to round up and put into their hutch, which is located outside in the garden, where they are secured overnight.
Moose and Eddie have both been fully toilet-trained, making them excellent house companions. These bunnies thrive on human interaction and are very friendly and affectionate. Moose and Eddie particularly love being around people and like to come and lie down next to us on the outdoor patio when we have meals (pictured).
The decision to rehome Moose and Eddie has not been an easy one. Our children previously each had bunnies that were part of our family for 8 wonderful years. After our last bunny passed away, we spent 18 months bunny-free before welcoming Moose and Eddie into our home. Unfortunately, now that our kids are older, we’ve realised the bunnies aren’t getting the level of attention they deserve. We believe they would be happier and better suited to a family that can spend more time with them.
We are looking for a home with a safe and secure backyard where they can continue to free-range, just as they always have. They would be perfect for a young family who can give them plenty of love, time, and attention. As they are fully bonded brothers, they must be rehomed together. This is important because bunnies are social, herd animals, and separating them would cause them significant stress.
They have both been desexed, vaccinated and are microchipped. They will also come with their hutch, along with some food, hay, litter, etc., to make their transition into their new home as smooth as possible. To an approved home only. Please email to express interest.
