Hand reared 10 week old purebred English Angora's
I have hand reared these kits from 4 days old. born 07/12/2025. 3 of 5 have been rehomed, there is a cream girl and gray boy left, his face looks brown. I have done my best to ensure they're well established, they have been raised on wombaroo formula for 5-6 weeks then critical care. Hay from 2 weeks old and fibreplex from 3 weeks old for a few days and 2 other times 3 days at a time. Fibreplex is a pre and probiotic for rabbits which has helped them establish their gut flora. I have them on burgess pellets. we have had many vet visits and spoken to specialist regarding their care. Unfortunately they are a bit sick, the boy has snuffles and has been treated with antibiotic but it has not fully cleared, he's having an antibiotic break. I had a culture done but it didn't find anything but Pasteurella is suspected. Well these babies are hand reared, well socialised and friendly they need an experienced owner who will be slow at introducing new foods and keeping stress levels low. A lot of rabbits will carry Pasteurella but immunity is usually good enough to suppress it.
As well as being angora they need regular grooming to prevent painful matts that can potentially tear rabbits fragile skin
I would like them to go as a pair. Soon they will need separating and desexing to have a proper bond and prevent breeding siblings Not interested in any breeders and indoor living would be best. Unless adequate enclosure is used. as a pair they will cost $350 otherwise $250 each
