These Large mealworms are raised in Lyttelton on Organic Bran from Milmore Downs in Canterbury. They are also fed on local organic carrots. Nothing nasty in these good bugs!

I've expanded my mealworm farm, and they are now grown in their own temperature and humidity-controlled room (actually a purpose built shed that my chickens look at and long to get into).

I send them in tested cardboard boxes (no plastic here) and carefully contained in a re-purposed nylon curtain bag (I hated the net curtains anyway, so they are now serving a higher purpose). The boxes are designed to fit as an NZ Post Small package - so they will cost $8.70 Courier, or $6.70 Economy within NZ. Postage is additional.
