Rare Mid-Century E.B. FOLEY Bone China Trio – Hazel Thumpston Design

We offer today an interesting vintage Bone China Trio with some unusual leaf pattern design – just for you ? For your Collection ?

This rare and so collectable trio is named WIND FLOWER – a rare design by Hazel Thumpston for E.B. Foley in Fenton, Staffordshire, in the heartland of quality china production in England in the good old days.

We offer this fine mid-century set in a good used vintage condition. The footed cup with its pale blue inside still has a beautiful PING to it. All items have a gold rim and carry that very old E.B. Foley logo, the pattern name and the name of the designer.

Ps the date in the company's logo refer to its establishment way back in 1850. This mark was used from about 1948. The date 1850 refers to the time when the factory "Foley China Works" was first operated by a Mr. Robinson before the E. Brain group took over in 1885.
