"8 miles to the inch" scale [Approximates the later 1 : 500,000 scale Aeronautical maps.]
Featuring the lower South Island of New Zealand from Timaru to the top of Stewart Island. Aeronautical navigation information over-printed on the 1942 series map.
Shows a number of airfields which have since been decommissioned.
Approx 950 x 650 mm but the existing folds enable it to fit into a "Size 2" NZPO post bag.
