This is an awesome bike to get your youngster into mountain biking . It has a lightweight , butted - aluminum frame and 20 inch aluminum wheels . It has quality components from Shimano including a 7 speed drive train with revo-shift and a nice low first gear for climbing . There is a bit of rust on the rest cassette ( see pic ) but it does not affect functionality .
