Super fun, cool looking extensively serviced purple GT Backwoods, alloy, mid 1990s mountainbike

Rigid fork (original matching), medium ish size frame. 43cm from center of crank to top of seattube.

I'm 6ft and ride it with seat up high but really it suits smaller riders

Bike is ready to ride and enjoy after a major birthday, as follows;

Rebuilt hubs / bearings* Replaced bottom bracket, new, New cables all (inner outer). White outers cables, Schwalbe Billy Bonkers tires** (optional see below) Charge saddle brown, Matching brown grips screw-on, Zoom chrome riser bars Vintage alloy DH type stem, no brand: (maybe FSA or controltech or similar), Full LX m560 groupset Fusion red anodised flat pedals, Titanium style red ano skewers New cantilever pads, Araya RM-17 rims (LX hubs), stainless spokes, true.

Changes nicely, clean and lubed, rides super nice.

• there is minor play in the rear hub we can't get out. Tried extensively. Could provide another wheel but unlikely to be exact match. Lets discuss your needs.

** the Schwalbe Billy Bonkers tires 26 x 2.25 are brand new, never ridden, and cost over $100 to import. I'll reduce price $100 from buynow for a generic 26in tire instead, if you want this bike cheaper **

I'm also open to taking red anodised parts off too for further reduction and use them on another build.

3 x 8 gears with LX trigger shifters (greased / pods). Been adjusted cleaned and working very well.

Plenty of scrapes and scratches on frame but overall impression stunning.

Overall really nice bike for low key, retro reliable riding, school, commuting etc
