Auction is for 1x Pair of Antique Gaucho Stirrups.
Stirrups used for a horse saddle typical of South America - Chile, Argentina in the 19th Century.
The wooden Stirrups are carved from one piece and reinforced with metal (brass/ silver/ iron) suspension brackets. Carving is beautifully floral and with symmetrical shapes and borders. The suspension brackets have lovely detailed patterns that are like new in some places.
