The XIP (pronounced zip) Metro e-bike has an integrated battery & cabling providing an inconspicuous appearance & very light weight. It has a slightly aggressive geometry making it an ideal everyday commuter.

While there are no traditional gears the 250W rear hub motor powered by an internal 7.8Ah battery provides either 5 levels of power assist or can be controlled via thumb throttle.

A magnetic torque sensor responds accurately to your pedalling rate & effort for a silky smooth riding experience. Coupled with the belt drive & 700C Kendra road tyres it is also whisper quiet.

The long life belt drive is virtually maintenance free, with no lubrication required and no chance of catching trousers in the chain wheel (or oil stains!). No derailleurs means no adjustments to keep gears aligned & no chance of a slipped chain. Cruising speeds of 20-30km/hr are easily achievable with a range of 30-50km depending on usage and conditions.
