Blokart sailing is an exciting and satisfying recreational activity and sport for people of all ages. And you don’t need to know how to sail to get moving safely and confidently.

To experience the thrill of blokart sailing, join Canterbury Blokart Club Inc. members at Wigram (Air Force Museum of NZ) on a Sunday from about 12.15. Only a light wind is needed to get moving.

Use your gift voucher to enjoy 45 minutes of actual blokart sailing time. Gloves, a helmet and hi-vis vest are provided. Please note, enclosed footwear is required (no sandals or jandals), no loose clothing should be worn, and if you have long hair, you must be able to tie it back and contain it within clothing.

The voucher can be shared. It is up to you as to how you use the time. To ensure that a 'kart is available on your Sunday of choice, please make a booking at least a day or two in advance. For safety reasons, children under the age of 12 are required to sail in a tandem ‘kart with another suitable person (preferably their parent/carer or family friend). This allows young children (and others wanting to build their confidence) the opportunity to “have a go” with someone else in control. Or, they take control, with a suitable person as a support passenger.

Vouchers will be emailed to you and can be personalised with the recipient’s name. The voucher does not have an expiry date.

The decision to allow any person to sail is at the discretion of the Officer of the Day and is made on the day and in the best interests of the sailor, Club members and any other people present.
