The Ortus Warehouse

The Ortus Warehouse only accepts payment via Ping, AfterPay and Bank Transfer.

There are no additional fees for using your bank account details or a credit/debit card or using AfterPay to make purchases on Trade Me.

GST INVOICE: We are GST registered and are able to provide a GST invoice if required.

We stock/ship goods from our warehouse located in AUSTRALIA to bring you the most products and at unbeatable prices!

We process and arrange shipping for all orders within 1-2 working days after payment has been confirmed.

*Shipping charges are calculated based on real postage prices, we are not trying to over-charge our customers for shipping.

• Delivery time is expected to be 10-15 business days after dispatch from our warehouse
• Rural deliveries will take longer in some areas
• Transit times do not include weekend or public holidays

We use AU Post Internationals for all orders, so it may require a signature upon delivery, especially for higher value items. Please ensure you have your order delivered to an address where someone is available to sign for it. If you were unavailable to sign for an item when our courier called, they will leave a Card to Call at the delivery address. This card details when the delivery was attempted, the item number and what you need to do to have the items re-delivered.

Combined shipping: We are happy to combine shipping where possible. Free shipping & combined shipping does not apply to LARGE furniture or similar large items. The shipping for these items is as per the listing.

Shipping timeframe around public holiday periods: Please allow a few extra working days during public holidays. During the Christmas period - please expect courier delivery to take a little longer than usual.

Return Policy for all Products:

We provide a standard 30 day Return to Base Warranty for defects or malfunction for all listings that do not include any warranty information. Please check each product carefully for correct warranty type and period.

1. The Buyer must check the item(s) immediately after purchase / delivery and report any transit damage or faults by email within 24hrs of receiving the item. The Ortus Warehouse reserves the right to refuse courier claims that are made after this time frame. Please inspect the goods prior to signing for them as if goods are signed for ‘in good order’ we are not able to make a claim with the courier on behalf of our customers.
2. Contact must be made directly with The Ortus Warehouse for approval prior to returning goods under warranty, invoices and auction number will be required as proof of purchase. Photos or other forms of evidence may also be requested from the Buyer.
3. The Ortus Warehouse will replace or repair where possible and Refunds will only be offered where a replacement is not available. Original courier charges are non-refundable. Refunds will not be considered after the item has been used, or if the buyer simply changes their mind and if the item is not what you expected.
4. Products must be returned with all accessories including their original packing materials, cartons and boxes.
5. The Buyer has the responsibility and expense of sending back any faulty product. The Ortus Warehouse is liable for sending the repaired item or replacement back to the Buyer, except in the case that the returned item is tested and found not faulty or not in the same condition that the buyer reported. In which case, the buyer will be required to pay for return postage costs and the item will be sent back at the buyer's expense.

We do not have to give you a refund if:

1. You decide you don’t want the goods
2. You find the same thing cheaper elsewhere
3. You bought something for someone else that they don’t like or already have
4. You bought something that doesn’t match what you already have

Q: CUSTOMER SERVICE A: All emails, questions & queries will be answered between Monday – Friday, 11AM – 5PM NZST. We try and respond to emails as soon as possible however due to the huge volume of emails our reply may take up to 3 working days. We endeavor to reply to all emails but in the event that you have not received a response within 3 working days please check your junk box, spam & pop-up filters.

Q: PRICING ERRORS? A: Although we do our best to ensure prices stated on our store are accurate, errors do occur from time to time. Where a pricing error occurs (subject to applicable law that cannot be excluded), we will not be bound by the incorrect pricing stated, and reserve the right to cancel your purchase.

Q: Is the price in NZ Dollars does it include GST? A: Yes prices are in NZ Dollars. If total order including shipping is $399 NZD or under you will not be required to pay any import taxes or duty. $400 NZD and over you will be required to pay the GST. Q: Do you combine shipping? A: This is difficult on the Trade Me website as the site has no ability to combine shipments. You will need to contact us prior to purchasing to discuss combining orders.

Q: I missed an item can you relist it? A: Most items will automatically relist within 24hrs of selling or ending, unless it is out of stock, in this case please contact our support team, and we will let you know when the item will be re-stocked.

All applicable customs fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Customs authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package – the value is the retail cost. The Ortus Warehouse CANNOT mark any package(s) as a “Gift” in order to avoid customs and duties fees.
