CHANGE OF PAYMENT METHOD

If you forget to select PAYNOW by your credit card, you can change your payment methods on your Trade Me Page. Because PAYNOW is not our system, we cannot change your payment methods for you. Courier generally picks up parcels twice a day from our address, morning and earlier afternoon. Therefore, to ensure your parcel will be sent out on the same day, please place your order by PAYNOW in the earlier morning. Thank you!

COMBINED SHIPPING

Combined shipping means that you have already purchased another listed item from us with FULL courier fee paid, and you want us to combine current listing to another listing together. It doesn’t mean that you can only pay combined shipping for 2 or more items purchased under the same listing without FULL courier fee paid in another listing. If you made such mistake, we generally will email you instantly and advise you to pay the difference between combined shipping fee and the correct courier fee (urban/rural. The difference can be found in the delivery section of the listing you purchased.

Return or Exchange:

You MUST contacted us and get the our confirmation before send any product to us. We will give you a RMA number for the reference of approval of return. Please wrote the RMA number in / on the parcel. Any product returned without RMA number written in/on the parcel will be thrown to the rubbish without any notice.
We have a lot of orders and parcels everyday. The parcel without RMA number will be lost or thrown away by the rubbish collection company.

PURCHASE THE WRONG PRODUCT BY MISTAKE

If you realise you have purchased the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7-day exchange policy. We generally will take your items back and exchange the product costs to the credit under your name, and you can purchase the right product from us. To exchange a product, goods must be sealed/unopened condition, with packaging in original condition, and we will need to be notified within 7 days of purchase/delivery.

INCORRECTLY SUPPLIED PRODUCTS

If you have been accidentally supplied the wrong product, we are so sorry about that! TonerInk will supply you the right product you ordered or issue a credit/refund. In order to supplying the correct product, the incorrect product will first need to be returned to us. TonerInk can arrange the collection of the incorrect product by courier if you selected shipping on the purchase. And we will also need to be notified within 7 days of purchase/delivery and the incorrect item supplied must be in resalable and unused condition.

PRODUCTS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

If your product is unfortunately damaged during transit to your delivery address, we will replace your product by the courier. For us to claim the loss to the courier company, you will need to send back the product to us, and we will courier the replacement to you.

PRODUCTS ARE IN FAULTY CONDITION UPON ARRIVAL AND WARRANTY PERIOD

A lot of faulty problems can be solved through emails. So please to ensure the sealed tape and cartridge protective holder are removed, and then email us instantly. Generally we will need you to email us the following:

1. Your TradeMe Reference Number (Started with a P, like P123456789), please put it in your email subject line
2. Your printer model in detail like Brother MFC9340cdw
3. A picture of our cartridge(s). Please remove the cartridge from the printer, and take a clear picture of the cartridge(s), showing all sealed and protective tape/holder is removed.
4. A printer test page (the test page should be only printed by your printer settings, not same random page from internet)

We will reply your email within 1 business day.

In order to repair or replace your faulty product, it will need to be returned to us so we can test and confirm it is faulty. And as ink/toner cartridges are consumables, TradeMe sales products are covered by 45 days’ warranty, unless specified differently on the listing. Return of this nature can be made any time within the warranty period and it is your responsibility to cover any costs of returning the product to us.

TEST FEES AND RETURN FREIGHT

If you return a product to us without notifying us, or the product is not in faulty condition at all, you may be liable for a testing fee and freight charges to return the product to you.

RESTOCKING FEES

In some special circumstances, we may agree to accept a return of a product that is not faulty. In these situations, there will be a restocking fee equal to at least $5.99 per item. Delivery fees are not refundable.

WHY TONERINK PROVIDES SO AFFORDABLE INK?

The genuine cartridges are so expensive, like an extortion! Printer companies are selling printers at next to cost price, expecting you to buy their cartridges for outrageous prices. A set of genuine cartridges often costs more than a printer. To prevent customer buying a new printer instead of the cartridges, some cartridges supplied with a new printer are usually low capacity cartridges (less than 30% of the normal capacity). WILL USING COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGE DAMAGE MY PRINTER?

No. TonerInk has its own qualified manufacture base (Unlike other suppliers are just a distribution channel). It is ISO-9001 certified to maintain the quality of the cartridges they produce. All TonerInk cartridges are manufactured to the same standards as originals, meaning they are basically the same shape, size and volume, and therefore work perfectly. The ink cartridge from TonerInk will not damage your printer.

WILL USING COMPATIBLE CARTRIDGES VOID THE WARRANTY ON MY PRINTER?

No, NZ Commerce Act 1986 states that it is illegal for a manufacturer to require the consumer to use a particular brand of cartridge as this is deemed to be anti-competitive behaviour. Furthermore, under the Fair Trading Act 1986 it is illegal to state that you must use a particular brand of cartridge as this is misleading behaviour. Your warranty covers manufacturing defects and is unaffected by the brand of cartridge that you use.

DO YOU SELL GENUINE PRINTER CARTRIDGE?

Yes. We do. If you like genuine cartridge and look for a better price than big retail chains, please contact us directly. Even there is not much margin on genuine cartridge, we still strive to give you a better price than big retailers.

DO THESE CARTRIDGES HOLD AS MUCH INK AS GENUINE CARTRIDGES?

Yes, these cartridges are filled to the same level if not more than that in genuine cartridges. On some models, we manufacture base will “overfill” the cartridge so it contains more ink than the genuine cartridge. For some printers, we also have available High Capacity cartridges which contain even more ink.

HOW CAN I TELL YOU MY PREFERRED COLOUR IN THE PURCHASE?

All you need to do is to leave us a “delivery message” after clicking BUY NOW. TradeMe auto-hides this column, so you need to click on “+ Add delivery instructions” under contact phone number and your delivery address.

WHY MY PARCEL STILL NOT DELIVERED?

It generally happens there was a problem in the processing or delivery. Please check your email (including junk mail), see whether there is an email from us, and you didn’t reply it? If there isn’t, please feel welcome to contact us, so we can investigate the problem for you.

HOW CAN I REPLACE THE INK/TONER CARTRIDGE?

Our ink/toner cartridges will work the same as original ones, so please refer to your printer manual for instructions. Some key points: Inkjet Printers (All Brands):

For all ink cartridges, they are some protective sealed tape or holder on the cartridges. Please remove them carefully, and insert to your printer firmly, to ensure them in the right position as other cartridges. If there is no ink following from cartridge to your print pages, please firstly check whether the breathing role on the cartridge is broken by your printer pin, and then try to use your printer nozzle head cleaning function (can be found under printer settings) to clean few times. Inkjet printers’ printer head usually can be blocked by dried ink residual, especially when you don’t print one colour page every day.

Brother LaserJet Printer: For brother LaserJet printer, please always replace your toner while keeping the printer power on, otherwise the printer will not recognise you have replaced a new toner cartridge. If you are replacing more than one toners, please do it one by one – replace one colour, close the lid, let the printer self-examine the new cartridge and recognise it, and then open the lid, replace another. DO NOT REPLACE BROTHER TONER WHILE THE POWER IS OFF, OR REPLACE THEM ALL ALTEGETHER. The instruction is the same as original brother toner cartridges. If you replace a drum unit for Brother printer, please always remember to reset the drum following instructions on the printer manual book.

HP & Canon LaserJet Printer: For HP and Canon toner cartridges, there might be a sealed tape inside the toner, please pull it off carefully before use.
