Payment Methods

TradeMe sales can be paid via NZ Bank Deposit, Credit Card (TradeMe Pay Now/Ping) and also with TradeMe afterpay.

GST

All prices include GST and goods are supplied with a GST Invoice so that you may claim the GST where applicable. If you misplace your invoice, we are happy to email you a copy.

TradeMe Payment Terms

“As a buyer, you need to pay for goods purchased as soon as possible, and within a week of the auction closing and receiving payment details.” If payment has not been received, we will email you a reminder. If you have changed your mind and no longer require the item, please advise as soon as possible so that we are able to recover our success fees from TradeMe and to avoid negative feedback.

Action Safety ships throughout New Zealand via Courier and we can only deliver to a residential or business address. Occasionally we ship direct to you from our supplier. In these cases, we rely on their shipping method.

A tracking email will be sent to you (from our courier company so please check your spam folder) and you will also be advised of dispatch via TradeMe feedback.

All goods are supplied with a GST Invoice.

Many of our listings offer “Free Shipping”.

Other listings (where it is more common to order multiple items) do have freight charges. For these items we also offer “combined shipping” with other items that you have paid freight on. (ie: one freight charge per order, not per item)

Size Exchange

If the item you purchase is the wrong size, you may return it (at your freight cost) and we will send you the required size (freight at our cost) Please note that we will do this once. If you wish to return and exchange the exchange item, additional freight charges will be incurred. Please note that we do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

All faulty items must be cleaned prior to being returned. Goods deemed to be faulty will either be repaired or replaced at the discretion of Action Safety. Any goods covered by a supplier warranty will be evaluated and honoured according to the Supplier warranty terms and conditions. Misuse of goods or wear and tear are not classified as faulty.

Clearance Items

Clearance items are sold on a “no returns” basis.

Action Safety sells a wide range of products sourced from many reputable brand suppliers. If you require a product from a brand that we sell that is not listed on TradeMe, please feel free to contact us to request a listing.

Please note that we are constantly adding brands and product lines to our portfolio.

Originally established in 1998, Action Safety began its life as an early adopter being one of the first to bring safety apparel to New Zealand shores and this drive to be at the forefront of the industry still runs strong for us.

However, when Key Directors Jeff and Jenny first came across the business in 2014 - it was struggling.

They saw an opportunity to breathe new life into it using their own previous business experience, they wanted to see it grow and flourish, but first they had to make some tough changes.

They relocated the business within the first year, increased instore holding stock and went on to develop new product lines - all brave and bold decisions that served to solidify Action Safety's place in the industry.

Still at the heart of the business Jeff and Jenny strive to stay true to the businesses beginnings - staying ahead of the game with all industry developments and often holding items that are only available in NZ through Action Safety.

Their key driver has always been to provide great service, backed with quality products, at a good value rate to customers, and this is what we do everyday.
