Insurance Policy

-Half Price Imports hold insurance over your goods whilst onsite at 134 Turners Road, Marshlands -The Carrier that we engage will hold insurance on your goods in transit until you have signed as receiving them in acceptable condition or you have uplifted them from the Carrier's Depot. -Your personal insurance will be responsible for your goods once the items have been signed for.

Signing for goods

Please inspect your goods thoroughly on arrival, please check the goods (not just the packaging) thoroughly before signing that you have received these in acceptable condition, please DO NOT SIGN or take possession of any items unless you are happy with them, if damage has occurred and you have accepted your goods we are unable to provide a refund or replacement, you’d need to contact your own personal insurer. If you feel the Carrier is rushing you simply DO NOT SIGN until you are satisfied, we strongly advise you do not give the Carrier Authority to Leave this.

-Freighting is arranged assuming suitable access for a Carrier Truck and flat passageway to you door. -Carriers are not responsible for bringing items into your house and will not carry large or heavy items up or down external or internal stairs due to their H&S policy, if the Carrier cannot access your property they will contact you and goods will be taken to the nearest Depot for you to collect. Goods can take between 1-7 working days to reach their destination depending on your location, please note this is simply an indication and I cannot make any guarantees on behalf of another independent company.

For any queries or special instructions regarding your freight please use the tracking number you’ll be provided and contact the Carrier in the first instance.

Half Price Imports freighting policy has been developed to provide clarity and protection to our customers as goods move around the county.

For Freighting - IMPORTANT! - Please inspect your goods thoroughly on arrival, all goods are inspected personally by me at the time of dispatch, we choose to only use Carriers who carry insurance but this CANNOT BE CLAIMED ON if you have signed or accepted your goods, please check the goods (not just the boxes) thoroughly before signing that you have received these in acceptable condition, please DO NOT SIGN or take possession of any items unless you are happy with them, if damage has occurred and you have signed for your goods we are unable to provide a refund or replacement. If you feel the driver is rushing you simply DO NOT SIGN until you are satisfied.

Assess- Our team will assess your photos and description to identify any instant solutions or whether the item needs to be returned for further investigation. For any mechanical item Half Price Imports charges a flat rate of $100 for the Return to Base Warranty Assessment, upon diagnoses if the issue is deemed to be a warranty issue HPI will refund the diagnoses fee in full to your nominated account, if the issue is not a manufacturing error this fee will not be refunded. For most issues these can easily be resolved upon email with a clear description of the issue and relevant photos, and phone calls if need be prior to having the item returned for further evaluation.

Inspect- If your product requires inspection please allow up to 5 working days for our team to arrange the relevant people/resources to conduct their inspections. In some cases this may require a response from a manufacturer or external resource.

Outcome- Half Price Imports will strives to provide a response or resolution within 10 working days on goods arriving to 134 Turners Road, Marshlands

Half Price Imports are not responsible for retrieving goods, if you are unable to return the item, we can arrange cartage for you, this would be at your own cost, for any outcome that relates to user error and/or not a manufacturing fault, Half Price Imports reserves the right to charge for any time/labour costs incurred, goods will not be released back to the customer until any outstanding payments have been cleared.
