Payment Terms

You will be able to checkout with paynow after purchase or if you prefer bank transfer you will automatically be sent an email straight after winning your auction with payment details and instructions.

Payment must be made in full prior to delivery and a maximum of 3 days after auction closes (unless prior arrangement has been made).

If you do not intend on completing the trade please just let us know this saves everyone time and hassle.

It can take up to 48 hours for transferred funds to clear. We will send the purchased items as soon as the payment has appeared in our account.

Please note that payments made over a weekend may not show in our account until Tuesday morning. Public holidays also may add an extra working day

Please use your REFERENCE NUMBER BEGINNING WITH P as a banking reference.

To speed up your item being dispatched please email a confirmation email once you have made payment and where possible attach at confirmation receipt so we can get your items dispatched as fast as possible.

Price / Invoice

All prices are inc New Zealand Dollars and are GST inclusive.

GST invoices are emailed with tracking numbers once products have been dispatched- please check your junk folder if you haven’t received it.

Refund/Returns Policy:

Please bear in mind we don't have your car in front of us so we can only work from the information you give us and the catalogue system we have available to us. Variations on parts for all models occur.

Refunds will not be offered if the buyer simply changes their mind, or if the item is 'not what you expected'

NZAD strives for 100% customer satisfaction however in the unlikely event that the part we send you is incorrect we reserve the right to attempt to supply the correct parts before issuing a refund.

If we cannot supply the correct part the item must be returned in SALEABLE condition ie: original undamaged packaging with postage prepaid, special order items aren’t returnable, please do not write on the boxes or the parts.

For warranty items our policy is to replace or repair and not refund (when possible). All items must be returned to us for full assessment before a decision can be made.

Refunds will not be offered after the item has been used or damaged.

Original postage charges are non-refundable. Buyer is to prepaid freight on returned goods

Electrical components are not returnable unless faulty. This is because some people fit new parts to try diagnose issues and as a customer you wouldn’t want a part that has already been fitted

Privacy We respect privacy and confidentiality. Personal details you provide are appropriately treated. We are aware of our obligations and the trust you place in us. Your details will never be provided to a third party

Is it really free shipping NZ wide including Rural? Yes that’s correct we ship for free NZ wide including rural and Waiheke. If you are on Great Barrier, Stewart Island etc then we usually need to send to your shipping agent who takes freight to your island, please check beforehand

How long does it take? Typically items are delivered the next business day in the North Island and around two business days in the South Island. Rural deliveries can take an extra few days. Please take into account what day of the week the parts are dispatched as couriers work Monday to Friday. If Saturday delivery is required please call us directly.

Can You ship Overseas? Yes we can ship worldwide, we will need to quote you on freight first please ask us

Do you carry items in stock- Yes it most cases we have the stock in store or available quickly offhand- in some cases we might sell out and do not have a chance to withdraw the auction or we may need to get it in from our suppliers local and overseas. We will work with you to fulfil the order in the shortest timeframe possible. We do represent some overseas brands so in some cases these are shipped from their warehouses, if in doubt please ask.

Is the auction for a pair of rotors / set of Pads? We typically sell Rotors in pairs and Pads in a set of 4. A Pair of Rotors is enough to do the front or rear of the vehicle, a set of pad is enough to do the front or rear of a vehicle.

Are all your products new? Yes all our products are new unless otherwise stated

Do you fit the parts? We’d love to but we just don’t have the time to fit our parts but we can recommend workshops that can fit the parts locally.

Do I need to have a mechanic fit the parts or can I fit them myself? Ideally any repairs should be undertaken by a professional but depending on your budget this might not be possible. If you are attempting to fit your parts, especially braking components you will need a good understanding about the application and how to carry the job out correctly. Some manufacturer warranties require professional fitting, please bare this in mind.

Do your parts have warranties? Yes all our parts have warranties, some vary but most of them have a 12month warranty. Please be assured we only sell quality parts we fit these to our cars. Please see warranty and Returns section for more information.

I’ve seen it cheaper overseas! Be Careful! We find overseas sellers offering products at really attractive prices, this is due to them not having to pay taxes when exporting and not having to pay local duties and taxes here, you however can get unexpectedly end up paying them. However there should be a few things you as the customer should know before you buy.

-Buying from an overseas supplier you aren’t protected by New Zealand Consumer Law- ie the Consumer Guarantees Act so if something goes wrong recourse might be difficult -International freight is expensive, if the part is wrong or faulty sending it back can end up costing too much and making it a sour trade. If you need to return the part and have paid local GST you aren’t able to claim it back. -If your purchase comes to more than $400 NZD including shipping your item will be stopped and charged GST and a transaction charge usually around $40-50. NZAD OE / STANDARD REPLACEMENT CLUTCH KITS NZAD warrants all OE Replacement clutches to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for normal use and service for 12months/20,000km from retail purchases on OE replacement clutches only. NZAD reserves the right to examine any part returned for warranty claim to determine to NZAD’s satisfaction whether such part is defective in material or workmanship. NZAD obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing, replacing, or crediting, at its option, any part proven defective. No labour, lift, service or storage charges will be reimbursed for any reason. Damage to NZAD’s parts resulting from misuse or abuse shall void this limited warranty. Any return freight charges must be prepaid by the customer. Final determination of the suitability of the products for the use contemplated by the buyer is the sole responsibility of the buyer. NZAD shall not be liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages that might be claimed as a result of the failure of any part, including claims for delay, loss of profits, or labour. NZAD shall not be liable for any damage or injury to persons or property resulting from improper installation or misuse of any part subject to this warranty. There are no other warranties expressed or implied extending beyond those set forth above.

HIGH PERFORMANCE PARTS EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY Due to the unusual stress placed on high performance parts, and because of the circumstances under which they are often used, high performance parts are sold without warranty. We will warranty manufacturing faults and workmanship but will not cover failure due to abuse, incorrect fitment and adjustment. Any claim will be done so with NZAD and the final decision is the sole discretion of NZAD. Should a part be deemed faulty a replacement part will be issued under no circumstances will a refund be made. Labour and subsequent charges will not be covered.
