Something Special

All goods may be paid for using a debit/credit card through Trademe’s PAYNOW system.

Our bank details will be sent automatically through Trademe, and can be accessed on your won page if for any reason you do not receive the payment email. You are welcome to pay by cheque, cash or internet transfer into our account. Please be aware that cheque payments will take 5 working days to clear.

Please make sure to use your auction ‘p’ number for all payments into our bank account to avoid delays in matching up payments.

GST invoices are available on request.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are asked to sign for your goods on delivery please check contents before signing. NO claims for breakage can be lodged after goods have been signed for. If goods are being sent to a relatives or work address please make sure to give recipient permission to check contents before signing for your package. Please be aware that if you have an existing ‘authority to leave’ with Fastway couriers we will not be able to claim for breakages under any circumstance.

Combined shipping We are happy to combine shipping. If paying by bank deposit please email us with the auction numbers that you have won and we will let you know the combined shipping price. If paying by credit card please select and pay for shipping on all items and we will refund the difference when goods have been packaged and sent.

Addresses Addresses must be sent through Trademe. No exceptions. If using a smartphone app this can be done by logging onto ‘Touch Trademe’ if not offered as on option on the app you are using.

If you have moved please take the time to update your address on Trademe prior to sending it through, we will not accept address changes by email, no exceptions.

Rural areas If there is a choice of shipping on your auction(s) please make sure to select the correct option if you are rural. Rural is not limited to RD addresses, if you are unsure please check on the website http://www.addresscheck.co.nz

All addresses are checked online prior to goods being sent, so if the correct shipping option has not been selected this may result in a delay whilst we arrange full payment. If you are unwilling to pay the correct postage we reserve the right to send your goods to you c/- your local Fastway depot, and will email you a tracking number so that you can make arrangements to collect your goods from your nearest branch.

Non delivery claims NZ post and our courier company have a limited time period for non delivered items. Please contact us between 7 and 10 days after making full payment if goods have not yet arrived. Non delivery claims over 14 days will be rejected by NZ post and our courier company, no exceptions, so it is important to communicate with us if goods have not been received with 7-10 days.

All sales are covered by the consumer guarantees act.

Faulty/damaged goods: Breakages must be notified within 24 hours of receipt so that we can instigate a claim with the carriers. We will need photographic evidence of breakage at this time please. Please use your unique ‘p’ auction number for all correspondence.

A replacement item/refund will be sent/issued as soon as we have had notification from the carrier that the claim will be accepted.

Faulty goods may be required to be returned for inspection. If goods are found to be faulty we will exchange them for an identical item and refund the postage that you have paid to return goods to us (equal to, but no greater than, the shipping amount paid at time of purchase). We will also send replacement item out free of post and packaging charges. If item is not available we will refund monies paid including shipping costs, or offer ‘goods to the value of’ if preferred.

Returning goods Without exception returned goods must be returned in their original packaging (less cellophane/plastic wrapping). If returned goods become damaged in transit on the way back to us your claim may be declined, so please make sure to take care in your packaging. It is the buyer’s responsibility to get goods back to us in good condition. If goods are found not to be faulty (for example a bulb has blown when plugged into your power supply), or arrive damaged through bad packaging, your claim will be declined and we will require you to pay shipping to have the item returned

Change of mind purchases If goods are not faulty or damaged we will accept them back into stock under the following conditions: Goods must be returned within 7 working days, in their original packaging, and at the expense of the purchaser. A refund of the auction purchase price (less shipping costs and a handling fee of 15%) will be made to the purchaser’s nominated bank account with 2 days of receipt of goods. If returned goods become damaged in transit on the way back to us your refund request may be declined, so please make sure to take care in your packaging. It is the buyer’s responsibility to get goods back to us in good condition. If goods arrive damaged through bad packaging your refund request will be declined and we will require you to pay shipping to have the item returned back to you.

Trademe does expect buyers to allow sellers an opportunity to remedy lost or broken items, and it is your right under the consumer guarantees act to have a satisfactory remedy, therefore if you are unhappy with your transaction due to loss or breakage please contact us to discuss this prior to placing feedback. Our email address is easily available through the Trademe auction that you have won.

If you chose to place negative feedback without contacting us first we may chose not to trade with you again and may amend the feedback we have given you to reflect your lack of communication.

We like to place happy faces and nice feedback, but will place negative feedback if sales are not completed.
