Payment instructions are automatically sent to winning bidders, containing bank account details and pickup address. We require that payment is made in full within 5 working days. Unpaid purchases may get cancelled after this period.

Payment Methods: We aim to be as accommodating as possible to our customers and accept various payment methods:

Bank desposit: Please follow the instructions on our payment email and remember to include the Trademe purchase reference number. If no reference number is included or incorrect paid amount, this may delay the delivery process.

Credit cards: We accept Eftpos, Mastercard, and Visa in store. We do not process Mastercard and Visa card payments over email, phone or fax.

Cheques: We do accept cheques as payment but please allow 3 working days for the cheques to clear before items are sent. Cheques are not acceptable for pickups.

Laybys: Layby sales are for in-store only and is only available on purchases over $500. Purchases through layby will be subject to an agreement and cancellation fee which is variable and determined at the time of purchase.

GST: We are a GST registered company and tax invoices are provided on request.

IMPORTANT

We do not take any responsibility regarding sales issue (including but not limited to: Payment and/or Delivery) if we are contacted beyond 45 days from original purchase date.

Deliveries:

Deliveries will be despatched ASAP by courier after payment is received and cleared. Be aware that items can take approx. 2 – 7 business days for the courier to deliver and it may take a few days for payment to show in our bank account.

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that their delivery address is correct before making any purchase. We utilize a system of automatic printing for dispatch to increase efficiency, which uses the delivery address sent to us via Trade Me. Thus we cannot guarantee the accuracy or be responsible for any delays if the buyer decides to modify their address after purchase, but we will try our best to assist.

IT IS THE BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK PRODUCT FULLY BEFORE PLACING HIS/HER SIGNATURE FOR THE COURIER.

The Buyer must check the item(s) immediately after purchase / delivery and report any transit damage or faults by email within 24hrs of receiving the item. Handy Hardware reserves the right to refuse courier claims that are made after this time frame.

IN NO EVENT, SHALL HANDY HARDWARE LTD HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY AGAINST ANY SIGNED SHIPMENT.

Pick ups: You are more than welcome to come to our store to pick up purchases. But as we are a busy store, please indicate that your purchase is via TradeMe and bring your purchase reference number, and if you have paid online, you must bring a legal photo ID. This way we can ensure that the process is fast and smooth.

To guarantee stock for online purchase collections (pick ups), please contact us to confirm item availability prior to pickup at the pickup address.

Handy Warehouse Ltd is both a physical store and an online store. We normally carry sufficient stock at the physical store. But stocks may run out at physical store from time to time and needs to be replenished from our storage address elsewhere.

CASH, EFTPOS or CREDIT CARD is Available in Store.

Combined Shipping:

We provide Combine Shipping options on applicable products for an extra $1.50 or $1.00, these for second item/s purchase. A Full Postage is required to be paid on the first item.

E.g. $8.50 for first item, then $1.50 per second item. If you bought 5 Products, then $8.50 + $1.50 x 4 = $14.00

Combine shipping for Hardware Products is often unavailable due to their large weight or size. Therefore, our combine shipping is not automatically calculated, so please be advised that you are required to email us of all the reference number/s you have purchased with combine shipping to ensure that all product will be dispatched together. Please contact us if you have any doubt regarding shipping options.

In the very unlikely event of damaged or faulty goods returns must be made within 7 days. Handy Hardware Ltd supplies will repair, replace or refund your item (at our discretion).

Please note that we will not, as a standard matter of course, offer a refund or exchange if you have changed your mind or chosen incorrectly.

Please make sure the auction you are purchased is what you want prior to purchasing, read all relevant information on products and warranties, returns must be made within 7 days and the product is sent back to us at the "Buyers Expense". All courier and postage charges are non-refundable. If in Doubt, please ask.

Once bid is placed, you have read and agreed to all our terms and conditions.

We always strive for 100% customer satisfaction and do our best to resolve problems as quickly as possible.

We are not liable for goods damaged or lost in delivery but please do inform us of the incident immediately (Image and Description is required, or delays will be caused). We will place a claim application against your product, and replacement or refund for the product will only be given once courier settles the claim with us.

If you think that you may or would, change your mind, or, unsure about the product or quantity, please do not purchase from us.

You don't have the right to return goods and exchange them or get a refund simply because you've changed your mind or your circumstances have changed or you've made a mistake.

So please choose carefully before purchasing. If you have any questions, ask before purchasing, please do not purchase until you are cleared of all doubts.

Please refer to the description of each specific product for different length of warranty periods. An invoice must be presented for all warranty claims.

All products are subject to manufacturer's warranty and we direct all claims to accredited agency without being directly liable to purchaser.

Warranty covers products against defects in workmanship and materials. Damage/s from misuse, negligent installation or operation, inadequate packaging, cleaning or maintenance, unauthorized modifications or addition voids warranty.

Applicable products contain a standard 30 day Return to Base Warranty for defects or malfunction for listings that do not include any warranty information or else warranty would be specified. Warranty products are returned at Buyer’s Expense (including postage) for any warranty cases.

• It is the buyer's responsibility to check and report any damage or DOA (Death on Arrival) condition problem via email within 48 hours upon receiving the item. Photos or other forms of evidence may be requested as proof of damage. In case of damage in transit, the original package such as the courier satchel/ticket, the boxes and/or cartons must be returned together with the product(s) for investigation in order to make claims.
• Warranty is not transferable beyond the original buyer.
• TradeMe Listing numbers or invoices may be required as proof of purchase.
