Dinky Toys 100 - LADY PENELOPE'S CAR -1st Version (1960's) - all Original!

Dinky Toys Lady Penelope’s FAB 1 car, was a futuristic Rolls Royce that featured in the rather wonderful Thunderbirds television series. This was Dinky’s first TV character toy and was hugely successful becoming the ‘must have’ toy of Christmas 1966. It was made from 1966 through to 1977.

This is a very rare, all original, Dinky Toys 100 - LADY PENELOPE'S CAR -1st Version, from 1966/67. It is hard to find these cars with the grill mascot intact and with their original front and rear missiles. The car is in Excellent++ condition for its age.

It is fully-functioning: (i) the front rocket fires (ii) the rear harpoons fire also (iii) opening front grill (iv) sliding roof canopy

PLEASE NOTE: The box and inner plinth are original, but are showing signs of age-related wear and tear: (i) the outer box is missing a small end piece tongue (ii) the outer box has internal cellotaping for one end's side flaps. (iii) the inner plinth has some internal cellotaping of its small end flaps
