Dinky Toys 101 - THUNDERBIRDS 2 and 4 (1st Issue) -1960's

Thunderbird 2 is International Rescue's heavy-equipment transporter, used primarily for missions dealing specifically within the Earth's atmosphere. It is the transport vehicle for several smaller rescue vehicles held in pods, although its capacity for heavy lifting makes it useful in its own right during many rescues. The craft's main pilot is Virgil Tracy, who is often accompanied by various back-up crew members including Gordon, Alan, Brains, and even John.

TB2 appeared in all but one episode (The Impostors) of the Thunderbirds TV series, and both feature films - making it one of the most iconic Thunderbirds machines of all. It was made from 1966 through to 1975.

This is an all original, Dinky Toys 101 from the 1960's. TH2 is in Excellent-to Near Mint condition 'for its age'. It is very rare to find these with their TH4 and all of their legs!

The outer box is original but: (i) is missing 3 of its side flaps and is showing signs of age-related wear and tear, including internal cellotaping of flaps. (ii) the inner display plinth is missing (reproductions are available on EBAY).

PLEASE NOTE: (i) Whilst it is possible 'at times' for all 4 yellow legs to stay in a retracted position - often 1 or 2 on the R-H side tend to pop-out without being released using the push-button.
