Description
If you want to polish some really big rocks then this is the beast for you ! A huge amount of thought and work went into the making of this. A lot of thinking went into making it out of simple, easily replaceable parts so no difficulties in keeping it going for years. No slipping rollers as it's positive drive. All the bearings and belts are easy to find, off the shelf bits. Even the motor is a common ex old washing machine quarter horse. Cheap as chips. The drum is rubber lined and currently half full of crushed walnut shell mixed with jewellers rouge as I use to use it to polish the brass plates out of grandfather clocks. I'd set it going, and then check it a few days later. One end has wingnuts to remove the side and gain access, actually surprisingly quick to do and you're not doing it often ! There is some surface rust but it's of little consequence so don't be concerned. Can't really post this but if you arranged a pickup I'd be happy to help load up.
