Allosaurus was a large, carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period, approximately 155 to 145 million years ago. It was one of the most common predators of its time, and its fossils have been found all over the world.
Allosaurus had strong jaws and sharp, serrated teeth that it used to tear through flesh and bone. It was also known for having unusually large hands with three fingers, which each ended in sharp claws that it used to grab and hold onto its prey.
