The modern design coupled with rare earth magnets mean they are 30 x the output power of meccano E20r 20 volt mototrs. Their low power demand means that low cost rechargeable Li-ion batteries will power a model running for several days

This one is rated 6v & operates from 3 to 15V. Photos show the motor and a range of listed speed controllers. We can also supply power packs for running from 230v or from LI-ion batteries. They are widely used by meccano enthusiasts.

Using one of the listed low cost speed controllers shown in the photos these motors can be controlled to give stable set shaft speeds from about 5% to 100% of the rated rpm with virtually the same full torque across the range.

This one comes at 60rpm.(1 rev per second) and 6v. They are available in 6,12, & 24v in all of these speeds. 12 rpm 16 rpm 26 rpm 35 rpm 77 rpm 130 rpm 170 rpm 280 rpm 620 rpm & 1360 rpm. We stock of some of these but can supply any with about a 2 week leadtime All have meccano compatable 4mm shafts and all are the same price. We supply couplings from 4mm to other dia if desired.

They are optionally available, in aprox the same speed options, with a factory fitted encoder and wiring harness for an additional $18 each. (pay to bank account). Perfect for control of models or robotics by ARDUINO or PI controllers.
