1967 Fiat 500 500F
Description
1967 Fiat 500F – entire car, in pieces/ready for full restoration + rebuild - priced to sell in one auction
Auction for a complete 1967 Fiat 500F as is, where is – Rego on hold, no WOF Vehicle is in pieces, on wheels, but not road-ready/ready to drive COMPLETE RESTORATION REQUIRED - it is literally in pieces, and needs to be put back together
This is a project that I will regrettably never get around to finishing, (I have too many hobbies, and not enough time), so it’s time to find a new home for this little car
THE VEHICLE IS BEING SOLD AS A SINGLE AUCTION LOT I am not splitting the auction to sell off separate parts, and unfortunately cannot rebuild the vehicle for the auction winner Also - I'm letting the auction run, so there's no "Buy Now" option
It is a motivated sale for the full vehicle, (in pieces, but rolling) – hence the auction start price The vehicle/engines are in pieces, and are being sold as a “project” (i.e. a collection of parts, in readiness for A COMPLETE RESTORATION/RE-ASSEMBLY) I’m sure there are some nuts/bolts missing, but I’ve collected everything that I can find
The auction includes:
- 2 engines, (the original 500F engine – running when dismantled, and a spare 500 engine – also dismantled), and one transmission - dismantled
- Original keys (Fiat ignition key, plus an additional/unknown key)
- Original number plates
- Body/chassis with windows and sunroof
- Bumpers
- 5 wheels, and 2 sets of hubcaps
- Seats/belts
- Exhaust system, petrol tank
- Door cards
- Replacement rear lights and rubber door seals
- New gasket set
- Haynes manual, and copy of an original Fiat service manual
Payment: Bank transfer, please, to be paid before collection by auction winner Collection: from Helensville, Auckland Collection deadline: vehicle to be collected by two weeks after the auction closes, please
Please include any queries in the "Questions" section, and I'll get back to you.
Thank you! :-)
Questions & Answers
when was car last warranted and did you drive it before disassembly-cheers andrew. suzz509 (116 • 7:54 am, Sun, 26 Oct )Good question! The last vehicle WOF was undertaken (and passed) on 3rd August 2006. And yes, I did drive the car before disassembly, and it drove nicely 👍 saraks (164 • Sunday, 26 October 2025 )hi, can we come to view please? 0211809698 rabinovichm (211 • 9:59 am, Sun, 26 Oct )Hi! We'll be available on Saturday afternoon (1st November), so I will text you on Friday to see if you'd still like to look at the vehicle. I'm not sure of your price-point for the vehicle, so let's check in nearer the weekend, if that's OK? Thank you! :-) saraks (164 • Sunday, 26 October 2025 )Hi is there much rust in it hubbahubba (179 • 12:49 pm, Mon, 27 Oct )Hi! No - there's not much rust - when I last looked, (in about 2007), there was some in the compartment under the bonnet/petrol tank, but the floor pan was generally fine. However, the floor pan, engine bay, and bonnet compartment have been painted since then, and I am unable to see if there's any rust developed since then. Thank you! :-) saraks (164 • Monday, 27 October 2025 )Also - sorry… the vehicle has not been driven since 2007, and has been stored in an enclosed garage (so has not been left in the elements/bad weather) 👍 Seller comment Monday, 27 October 2025
