Description

Saab 900 1994 - a classic Swedish convertible that's ready for some TLC

This 1994 Saab 900 convertible offers a taste of real Swedish car design with its unique look and charm. It features a 2.1-litre petrol engine paired with an auto gearbox, making it easy to drive around town or on the open road.

Being NZ new, this Saab has spent its life here and has clocked up some kilometres over the years. While it's been a reliable car - Saabs are known for their solid engineering - it does need some work to bring it back to its best. The four-seat layout gives you room for friends when the top is down on sunny days.

Features:

  • Classic convertible top for driving with the top down
  • 2.1-litre petrol engine
  • Auto transmission
  • Four-seat layout
  • Aircraft-inspired dashboard design.

If you're looking for a unique project car with character, this could be the one. These Saab 900 convertibles are becoming more popular as modern classics. Have any questions? Feel free to ask!

So that was the AI part :) and I must say it did a decent job.

So I'll ad some to it. I bought this car in the beginning of the year and drove it from Auckland to Tauranga. It did have some missing issues that I sorted on the way back (poor connection to crank sensor) and after that roof down all the way and truly enjoying the ride. The car drives really really good. And while having areas of rust and faded clearcoat on the bootlid actually still looks the part. You get loads of looks and comments cruising down Mount Maunganui with it.

Now the bad bits.. it has rust some of it will need to be fixed for WOF. I have not taken it for a WOF and I won't either since I know it will fail and don't want it to be flagged. The rust that has to be sorted is near and on the A-pillar and in the boot around where the seal is for the bootlid.

Previous owner has also removed the ABS light..

I highly recommend inspection and test drive of the car before bidding. It is sold as is where is.
