Glencroft Forests 1, 2 & 3, Brunswick, Whanganui, Manawatu / Whanganui

Glencroft 1, 2 and 3 are located 19.6 km from Whanganui in the Brunswick area which is renowned not only for its ability to grow quality trees but also its appeal as a lifestyle area. The forests have been carefully managed with high quality tending regimes making them a very attractive proposition for any forestry portfolio, while the contour and close proximity to Whanganui itself is appealing to anyone who may consider harvesting then creating the ultimate lifestyle block.

With a total net stocked area of 290 ha, the forests include Pinus Radiata trees aged 1998 with a small portion of 2010 which have been pruned up to 6.5 meters and are thinned enhancing growth and log quality. Glencroft 1 has a net stocked area of 69.42 ha, Glencroft 2 has a net stocked area of 122.59 ha and Glencroft 3 is 108.94 ha. They can be bought separately.

These near mature forests have a strong harvest profile with the majority of the area being easy contour resulting in a predominantly ground based harvest which will contribute to their low environmental risk.

Glencroft 1, 2, and 3 are being sold through a two-stage tender process. Non-binding indicative offers for the first stage are due by 24th October, with formal offers for the second stage closing on 12th December 2024.
