This is more than a house — it’s where a family grew up, year after year, season after season.

Out the back, another deck created the perfect spot for entertaining, long dinners, and unwinding after a day exploring. There’s even a boat shed, ready for early starts on the water or spontaneous missions to make the most of it.

And always, the backdrop… Views stretching across Lake Onoke, and in winter, all the way to the snow-capped Kaikoura ranges. The western shoreline alive with spray when the wind picks up. And sunsets that stop you in your tracks.

After days spent fishing, or trips out to Ngawi and the Cape Palliser Lighthouse, this was the place to come home to — warm, welcoming, and full of life.
