I bought a new house with an unconsented storage area in my house and could not get it complied, all those involved pointed the finger of blame at each other. Dave turned up and sorted it all out and I got a Certificate of Acceptance from Auckland Council. Dave's tenacity was incredible - he never gave up. We had some un-consented changes with new bathrooms in our house. Unlike quotes from other companies who only write a COA report, CCC Building Services drew the plans, wrote the COA report, tidied up some little jobs, chased up all the tradesman/files and handled the submission to Council. This worked out much easier and cheaper than getting a COA report and trying to project manage it all myself. Pay the money, get it done properly, Dave takes the stress out of it. Recommended to all.

My partner and I are first home buyers and we were looking at buying a property with an unconsented second toilet. We had been calling the council and other companies to get an idea of how much it would cost for us to get a CoA or Consent but were having no luck. Dave was very friendly and helped answer all of our questions. We were put in contact with Dave by a real estate agent. We purchased a 3 brm 1 bathroom property with a non- consented garage to sleepout conversion connected to our house. I purchased a modest unfinished small house. It had an old outstanding building consent,build information was missing. I hired an architect to make the house  bigger. By not amending the original historic consent & adding new building works to it. I started a new building consent to do the build. Unbeknown to us the old building consent with no CCC stuck to the property file & proved difficult to get signed off. Dave succeeded where others failed & helped us get this resolved & signed off.

Dave has worked with the council on our behalf to obtain two CCC’s for a minor dwelling built 18 yrs ago and an addition done over 25 yrs ago. He dealt with all problems that were uncovered – electrical, cladding queries and a major drainage issue to name some. He kept us updated throughout the process and always had the skills and contacts to tackle everything. Dave did a fantastic job; we could never have achieved this so seamlessly and quickly on our own. Thank you Dave!

Dave is great. Initially made contact for help with a COA but after talking it through we decided it was best to replace the original bathroom. Dave did most of the work himself, even after hours. Dave was fantastic. Right away expectations were set, timeframes were realistic and understood as were the costs. He was always available to address any concerns or help with guidance when necessary. He was on site when needed and always timely. He even took a load of rubbish to the tip for us !! Talk about above and beyond. Thanks CCC building services for all your help in sorting out and gaining CCC for our confusing factory office extensions in a competent way. To anyone out there. Dave took on the project of the company and worked his way through our unfinished 2006 building consent dealing with Auckland Council, organizing professionals and tradesman, drawing amended plans for our missing walls, added stairs, changed windows, plumbing, drainage, he organized fire reports. All done in a friendly manner.

I’ve recently purchased a house with a lot of unconsented work. Included a enclosed veranda, incorrectly installed log burner and a new bathroom all of which needed immediate repairs and Certificate of Acceptance.
