Guided Hunts with owner and operator, Mat Hall. Shot deer are carried and/or picked up with a Daihatsu 4x4 mini truck, transported back to the lodge; Field dressed included, if one wishes.

: Fallow hinds - $200 each (2 per/hunter max)

Bookings essential with a $100 deposit required to secure hunt date.

*No meat hunting from November - March generally.

Shots average 200 metres. A shooting area is available to sight-in before the hunt. This is important as most hunters’ rifles are not sighted-in properly. *It is also far easier if hunters have some experience hunting goats, rabbits and opossums beforehand .

Sighting-in also helps with gaining knowledge how to properly set-up shooting positions before a shot, to ensure better accuracy.

This Day Hunt option, is ideal for those who can only getaway for a day. It is within easy driving distance from Waikato and Auckland. Tea & coffee and a snack are provided at the lodge before or/after the hunt. Accommodation for longer hunts/stay is also available.

Accommodation is available at $200 per room (each room has a queen and a king single bed). Two rooms are available, each with their own bathroom. Includes the use of kitchen and BBQ.

• Management Fallow bucks are available now, starting at $1000.
• Trophy bucks also available. (Includes trophy prep of skin off the head for convenience of freezing; ready for taxidermist at another time).
