Both my boys have been seeing Shah for a couple of years now and he is amazing! Both my kids were struggling with maths and he has turned that all around. My boys are now in years 12 & 13 and they both speak really highly of how patient he is and how easy he is to understand - highly recommended.

Shah has been working with my year 10 son, who has been struggling with Math, for around 6 weeks now. Two weeks ago my son sat a Math exam which would give him 4 NCEA credits towards his NCEA next year and he passed. I highly recommend Shah. He is patient and is definitely helping my son's understanding of math.

I am in the process of studying for the NZ Defence Force aptitude tests, so the high school maths revision was quite daunting for me, as high school was a while ago! :) Shah has a very personal approach and makes you feel comfortable straight away, making the learning process fun, using concepts or examples that you can relate to. My daughter is a bright student in all areas. Her progress in Maths has always been good, but even so, we feel that school leaves gaps in knowledge, in Maths in particular. As individual questions remain unanswered and the teacher has to skip to new topics, students’ stress levels increase unnecessarily. I am glad we came across Shah’s ad and I am pleased with the way he tutors my daughter. As the gaps are filled in, her confidence increases. We look forward to more sessions throughout the year.

Shah helped my 18-year-old son with his SAT maths study. After reading the other reviews here, I can only concur with them. My son looked forward to the sessions (a first!) and even said he was disappointed when the SAT test date came because they would have to end! He really appreciated the way Shah could break problems down to explain them clearly and also made the maths tutoring enjoyable at the same time. I would say he has a gift and would recommend to others with no hesitation.

Shah has been tutoring my son for all of last term. My son is doing Level 1 NCEA and finds Maths a challenge. Since being with Shah he has a better grasp of Maths and we are looking forward to some great results at the end of the year.

My daughter is doing NCEA Level 1 and started with Shah mid way through this term. Already her confidence has improved and this is reflected in the results she is achieving. Shah communicates very effectively, I'm kept up to date with my daughter's progress while my daughter feels very comfortable with lowered stress levels regarding doing her maths now. Having no calculus and algebra background throughout high school it was a big shock to me when taking my first stage 1 maths paper at UOA. However Mr Khan has made the transition very comfortable. I look forward to continue working with him as I progress further into my other required maths papers.
