Description
Charming re-creation of the suffragist’s rallying cry “Votes for Women” which appeared on placards used by campaigners such as Emmeline Pankhurst & Kate Sheppard, a simple message that has strong associations with the campaign for women’s right to vote in New Zealand. New Zealand was the first country to grant women the right to vote, in 1893.
