English mid-century modern, retro, highboard / sideboard by Schreiber.

This is a teak style sideboard but the veneers are not teak.

Condition is good. In all normal perspectives it looks very clean and tidy and presents well. Obviously there are minor signs of use and age. There is a minor veneer flaw on the upper lhjs side/ edge and a small chip on the rhs sliding glass door, both photographed and neither really noticeable. There is a small veneer chip on the side of one drawer. Looks terrible in the photos but in reality small and scarcely noticeable. Two holes drilled in the open shelf obviously for electronics.Please inspect photos carefully. Presents well in normal viewing.

Colour: difficult to get exact, photos 2 and 4 are perhaps closest.

Glazed doors slide easily and are removable for transporting. Couple of shots without glass to show without reflections. Legs removable. Photos show with and without legs.

Drawer construction was a unique Shreiber innovation adding strength and durability. Overall the build quality is very good and the unit is all sound and strong.

Measures 1218 mm wide, 1300 high with legs attached, 1115 mm without legs and 405mm deep at the base, 315mm deep at the top.

Nice, bright, functional unit of medium proportions.
