5 x Repro Reform Flasks, including
Lord Brougham Lord Russell William the 4th Daniel O'Conner Queen Alexandra Victoria.
All were made by Beeper & Dendy at Denby Potteries.
All in good condition
Reform flasks name refers to the politicians involved in the Reform Act of 1832. The Act did away with ‘rotten boroughs’ (controlled by wealthy landlords) and also increased the electorate from about 500,000 to 800,000, making about one in five adult males allowed to vote.
They became so popular that other figural items were made, eg. pistols etc.
