This is a super rare 1 known crock from the Marlborough Brewery Company Limited. It is an unusual shape and size and quite crudely made with lots of missed glazed spots etc. These are all manufacturing faults, the crock has no damage. No makers stamp possibly NZ made ? You wont find another so would suit collectors of rare crocks or Marlborough area collectors. This had $1000 reserve when it first came up for Auction some years ago. The stopper, handle and tap are not original but a good fit. Will be well packed with postage at cost but at buyers risk or pick up in Kumeu.
