Description
An old or antique genuine ' Kienzle Clock made in Wurtenberg ' This is written on a little plaque nailed to the back. The little plaque is in the shape of a clock with wings. It is not complete, and so of course does not go. Has a reasonably good wooden case, there are remains or some workings or frame inside, no key, no hands. So again, is not complete, does not go and is sold as is. Has a reasonably good face, is glassed. The wood looks reasonably OK, obviously would need a light sand down and oiled or polyurethaned etc. Can see no borer, but, as you can see, has marks etc and paint spots, monor chips and grazes etc etc, but all in all not to bad. Either buy for spare parts, to fix up with your own parts, or stick a Taiwanese mechanism in the back. Measures approx 230mm x 95mm at the base x 185mm high. The gold face that you can see when you open the glass is approx 110mm wide, inside the glass from the front (so what you see when the glass is closed is approx 100mm wide. Thanks. refN23403201A
