This bowl when purchased had not been used in Lao culture for 100 years , that was 2002 so well over 100 year old bowl. The place I purchased them from was on the outskirts of Weng Cheng , Laos. The shop owner did not even know he had the bowls and they were on a high shelf covered in cobwebs and dust from many years ago. So not fake or copies.

They are from tribal people that are now almost extinct in the wild and we're used for all bowl activities from cooking to gardening.
