A finely made dark ble colour clay teapot that features a frog sitting on a lotus pod with moving seeds. Teapot has carved details of lotus stem, flowers, petals and pod. The teapot measures 9.5cm high, 10cm wide and 16cm long. It is in very good, unused condition.

Chinese Yixing Zisha "purple" clay is a porous, mineral-rich clay from Yixing, China. It is specifically known for its use in making unglazed teapots, where it acts like a "living" vessel, absorbing tea during use to improve flavour over time.

Fragile items can be couriered at customers own risk. Whilst we will take care when packaging fragile items we take no responsibility of any damage caused while in transit

We kindly ask that all items are paid for and collected within two weeks of the auction end date. Items not collected or shipped within this timeframe may be re-listed or sold elsewhere.

Items need to be paid for before collection via online banking or Trade Me Ping. We do not accept cash or eftpos payments. Our City Mission Op Shop on Barbadoes St is open for collections Mon - Sat, 10am - 4pm. Items are couriered Mon-Fri.

We can combine shipping. Please let us know that you would like combined postage via email when you win your first auction. Rural or RD deliveries incur an extra fee and we do not courier to PO Boxes!
