A quite neat & very retro looking perhaps very Early Sovereign / Kaimanawa ? NZ made Native Timbers & perhaps some exotic timbers as well, NZ Photo Frame - retro 1930s to 1940s ? Selling as in general condition as per photo. (flash can make things brighter than in real life)

I am assuming this is very early / old Sovereign or Kaimanawa woodenware - but as there is no labels or stickers, I could be wrong, so is sold as is, whatever it is. It does look like that sort of thing, and if not Sovereign or Kaimanawa, it will be likely another NZ made piece.

There are two photos that go with it, the rather iconic Franz Josef Glacier from Waiho Chapel No NZ 4266 which appears to be circa 1930 odd // and a wedding photo that looks 1940s to 1950s ?? perhaps.

It is used, and has marks, scrapes, wear & tear etc etc, but still looks reasonably fine for age etc.

A great piece that will be of use to someone for something, especially if you collect such things, or just as an interesting display piece or a retro frame for your own photo / picture.

Some people give a light sand down and do a semi restoration job to make look better, others are fine with how they are as semi rustic.

Great if you collect such things or specialise in NZ made items.

It measures approx 168mm odd wide x 117mm odd high total.
What you can see of the photos etc from the front is aprox 125mm odd x 73mm odd, and at the back, (what size photo fits) is approx 127mm odd x 87mm odd
