I have two kauri or rimu newel posts for sale. I bought them many years ago in Auckland and I think (!) they have come from an old pub. I would put them at late 1890's but I may be incorrect and they may be in early 1900s..do you know? They have been removed from a curving banister therefore a gap..there are some old pieces of the wood also. A handyperson/craftsperson could do something with these ..even if just restored. The price listed is for both and I would like to sell as a mismatched pair ...
