WW1 Patriotic Rifle trench cap sweetheart brooch A scarce original Great War period 'Patriotic sweetheart brooch', gilded brass miniature rifle mounted on the barrel a soldiers peaked cap, the sling below set with red, white and blue patriotic glass stones; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'T&H' and 'Reg.641091' a registration design and patent date of 1914.

Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, gilt finish, some wear to top of heart consummate with age and being used in love, remains bright, complete with all stones. Width 49mm. Height 19mm.
