Description
This is Nephrite Jade from the West Coast of the South Island, New Zealand. It would make a nice display piece or could be carved between fractures.
Dimensions at widest points: 145 x 116 x 33 mm.
There are some shallow curved saw marks (arcs) on some of the cut faces, which you can remove with fine sandpaper if they bother you. The stone has been oiled for optimum attractiveness. Once in a while give it a quick top-up wipe with vegetable/cooking/mineral oil if you like the look.
I am going to sell more Pounamu/Greenstone, so you might like to look out for further listings :-)
