The Manawatu Evening Standard (now the Manawatu Standard) is the daily paper for the Manawatu region based in Palmerston North. The company was first established on 29 November 1880.
Full of Kiwi nostalgia - these old newspapers take you back in time to the current affairs of the day and how life was in New Zealand. They include many old and amusing vintage adverts, and especially interesting is remembering how low-tech society was and how little things used to cost.
CONDITION Immaculate, complete, clean and intact with minor marks and wear on page edges, bound at the left edge, paper has been kept flat. Images depict all need to know detail.
