A RARE ITEM. If you were lucky enough to be the daughter of a wealthy family approx 160 years ago , you may have had one of these in your room. It is a childs size version of a Wash Jug and Bowl..essential items of the time , and were usually placed on a washstand against one wall of the room. This is continental porcelain, most likely German in origin. As with most porcelain produced during this time it carries no makers backstamp. ALL decoration has been done by hand, no transfer printing is involved. The bowl is 420mm long by 230 mm wide by 70 mm deep in the center. The jug is 260 mm highest point. PICK UP IS N PICTON. WE CAN WORK IN WITH ALMOST ANYTIME FRAME GIVEN A BIT OF NOTICE. STORAGE NO PROBLEM, BUT PAYMENT WITHIN 5 DAYS FROM CLOSE OF AUCTION PLEASE.
