***The German invasion of Poland on Sept 1, 1939, ushered in the Second World War. To justify the action, Nazi propagandists accused Poland of persecuting ethnic Germans living in Poland. Hitler occupied Poland from 1939 to 1945. He murdered millions of Poles between 1939 and 1945. The ethnic cleansing of Poland was one of the worst crimes committed during WWII by the Nazis. At first, in 1939, the German Occupying Forces overprinted German stamps with "Deutsche Post - Osten" but in March of 1940, the Nazis appropriated leftover Polish stamps and applied the overprints that you see on these stamps. These are some of the best artworks I know from the Nazi-era. There are two complete stamps set here, the smaller green stamps are a second set, which was the Postage Dues stamps of the day.

I ship on the same day when you pay, or when you ask me to do so - unless life gets in the way (cooking, washing, kids, husband, work...) but I try my best. I leave feedback when I ship so that you have a record of when your items were sent.

I'm a collector of Germany WWII-ish material as well as some other bits and bobs. So this is probably what you will mostly see in my listings. I am not a full-time dealer, a mere hobbyist so don't shoot me when I get something wrong :)
