Waikoa Island issued this attractive set of four stamps on 7th July 2014, showing scenes on the island.

The designs are:

17t ... Band rotunda in the Minaue public park.

35t ... Giant prickly pear cactus, Minaue.

85t ... Duck & ducklings.

Rs 2.35 ... Horses.

Here is the set on gold printer's proof cards, and with signed approval of Dr Sverre Hanssen, the Governor of Waikoa Island.

Waikoa Island first issued stamps in 1965, and became a protectorate of Mevu in 1972. Few stamps were issued later, then Mevu stamps were used until this set in 2014 marked the resumption of Waikoa Island having its own stamps again.
