This Hand carved Paua Pendant piece has been carved out of Ancient native Swamp Kauri. It has been selected from the Root Burl of the tree for its beautiful Grain, Colour and Fire. The Kauri has been Carbon dated at over 40,000 years old and has been buried in the Northland swamps of New Zealand for this amount of time.

This piece is around 55mm diameter and has been sealed in Liquid Glass which enhances the grain and colour, protects and gives it its crystal clear lustre for years to come, it is also non toxic.
