Anahera Gildea Ink and graphic pen on paper 470 x 570mm Anahera Gildea (Ngati Raukawa-ki-te-tonga, Ngai te Rangi, Ngati Toa Rangatira, Te Ati Awa, Kai Tahu) has worked extensively as a visual artist, a performing artist, a writer, a journalist, and a teacher.

Her work has been shown in exhibitions since 1999, including her two most recent shows in Wellington this year: “Te Aho Mano/A Thousand Strands” with Sian Torrington; and a group exhibition, “Ted’s Artrageous Adventure” with Caroline McGlinchy, Jo Grove, and Aleksandra Alagh.
